I have a different brand of cat fountain and was worried because Cassy, in particular, likes to attack electrical cords. It looks tacky, but I've protected the cords so that playful cats can't get to it, but can still get at the water. (It's ugly: empty tubes from toilet paper and paper towels. ) For some reason, the kids only attack certain cords, but I thought that one in particular should be protected.

The filtered water is a treat for the cats and it also humidifies our home -- added benefit!

Except for the rare occasions when Cassy decides to go swimming, I've been thrilled with ours.
