I was working at an event at the Expo Center in San Mateo this weekend, and wanted to let you all know that the parking is $7.00. Alas, there aren't any good nearby spots on the street. Perhaps we could organize a carpool.
I'm going to be house manager at a show in Palo Alto on Sunday, so I would probably want to go Saturday after my audition at noon.
BTW, there is a print ad with a $1 discount on admission in today's San Jose Mercury News.

Welcome to Pet Talk, LaPermCats! You will love it here. We will all definitely stop by to see you at the show. I really find it fascinating to talk with breeders of show cats and would love to see Kia Kaha in "purrson"
All, just FYI, I'm supposed to find a lady named Marva in the Orientals isle of the show. She has an available oriental, and several kittens, and this is another breed I have always loved along with the Russian Blue. She said she would be happy to talk to me about the breed and if it would be a good fit for meWho wants to come with me?

The available kitty is Zephyr, and you can find him on the Kittens page. Click on the Kittens link in the nav bar on the left, and scroll down. He's underneath Midas, who has already found a home.

Wow! So you are serious about possibly adopting another cat.Originally Posted by wolflady
I looked at her website and she looks very familiar to me. I think that we've seen her at the Cat Fancy show in San Jose. Zephyr sure has beautiful markings.
I'd be glad to come with you to talk to her and possibly see Zephyr.
I thought that you're heart was set on Russina Blue's though.

Yes, I've been seriously thinking about adding another cat, especially now if my fur-family is going to be split up. Marius really needs a cuddle-buddy.
I've always loved the Russian Blues and the Orientals. I figured that the right cat will find me when the right time comes.I did feel a pull from Zephyr though.

We'll certainly be happy to help you add to your fur-family! I'm bringing a friend or two who have never been to a cat show before. This is going to be so much phun!
Zephyr has such HUGE earswhat a cutie! I'm sure he'll grow into them.
Red, sent you a PM.
Zephyr is a cutie, but it might be too soon yet to make a decision. I did feel a "pull" from him, but maybe it's just I feel connected with these types of cats?
I figured it wouldn't hurt to speak with Marva and get more information about the orientals though.
In any case, I'm sure I'll find the right cat when the time is right.
