Oh Val, I am sitting here in tears. Duke has always been a favorite of mine..... prayers and gentle hugs sent for Duke from Nicki and me.

I really hope he'll feel better over the weekend! If not, I know you will do all you can to make him comfortable and feel how loved he is, and he will let you know when it's time. Still, it's the hardest decision we have to make.

I had to pass over this thread initially, as I am in such a fragile state right now. I came back to it as I know you need the strenght, and the knowledge that many are praying for you and Duke. This is such a sad time, and I know your love and devotion will see you both through. Somehow.
