Well, he probably doesn't need a name if she's gonna release him back to the wild! I'm glad you were there, and I hope he'll be able to fly free soon! Feathers grow back! I'm sure he's already GOT a name amongst his fellow doves, as even the wild doves tend to gather in group sometimes.

I'm glad the bird is okay, but I really hope the cat is, too since you scared him off. It really isn't the cat's fault, it's instinctal for them to attack birds but I am glad the bird is okay. I just hope the cat is safe and sound somewhere..
