Prayers for Tenny, please :( Not a good update :( :(

I got the bad news today. Tenny has a metastatic carcinoma. This is a pulmonary carcinoma that spreads to the skin. The doctor doesn't know where it is coming from. There will be no remission, just curative treatment, hoping to stop the progression of the nodules. This sort of cancer doesn't respond well to meds. She was willing to try something called carbo platim, or something like that. It is an injection, with usually no side effects. They do a dose once every three weeks. The predisone will continue. I will let you know how things seem to be working. Not exactly the news I was hoping for.

OMG, Johanna, I'm so very sorry that I didn't see this until now!!!

I read the entire thread, and my heart sank with each of your updates, and I'm really sorry that it's not the type of cancer you have hoped for. Your Tenny is still too young for something like this, it makes no sense, and it is NOT fair.

I wish I had some words of comfort for you; I can imagine how you feel. Please hug your Tenny from me and give him headscritchies, I know he will get all the love he deserves. I wish there was something I could do for you.

I'll keep you and Tenny in my thoughts!
