If GSD banned so is Afghan Hound, Airedale, Keeshond, Corgis...

I found this interesting in relation to breed bans. It is the next step. We are only in the early stages now, but look at history. Colorado started it with a pit bull ban, it's spread to other states and it also now includes other breeds. When is it going to stop. At what point will the line be drawn.

Remember, BSL not only affects breeds, but their 'mixes' as well.
I hope this is a wake up call.

If German Shepherd Dogs are banned:

Afghan Hound, Ainu Dog, Airedale Terrier, Akita Inu, Alaskan Husky, Alaskan Klee Kai, Alaskan Malamute, American Indian Dog, American White Shepherd, Anatolian Shepherd, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Kelpie, Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog, Beauceron, Belgian Shepherd Groenendael, Belgian Shepherd Laekenois, Belgian Shepherd Malinois, Belgian Shepherd Tervuren, Berger des Picard, Bohemian Shepherd, Briard, Canaan Dog, Canadian Eskimo Dog, Carolina Dog, Chinook, Croatian Sheepdog, Czechoslovakian Wolfdog, Dingo, Dutch Shepherd Dog, East-European Shepherd, East Siberian Laika, Eurasier, Finnish Lapphund, Finnish Spitz, German Spitz, Greenland Dog, Icelandic Sheepdog, Japanese Spitz, Jindo, Kai Dog, Kangal Dog, Karelian Bear Dog, Karst Shepherd, Keeshond, King Shepherd, Kunming Dog, Lapinporokoira, Leonberger, Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog, Lundehund, McNab, Mudi, Native American Indian Dog, New Guinea Singing Dog, New Zealand Huntaway, Norbottenspets, Norwegian Buhund, Norwegian Elkhound, Otterhound, Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis, Saarloos Wolfhound, Samoyed, Sanshu, Sarplaninac, Schipperke, Shiba Inu, Shikoku, Shiloh Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Swedish Vallhund, Thai Bangkaew Dog, West Siberian Laika

you know, that is true. I was watching Miami Animal Cops and some guy had two beautiful pure bred American Bulldogs and the contro officer was like, "I've dealt with these nasty pit bulls so long, I can tell one when I see one!" They're banned there so the guy had to move in about 2 weeks, pay fines, and that's even though he produced pedigrees and registration on the dogs as ABs. The author of what you posted had her IBIZAN HOUND mistaken for a pit bull!?!

    PETA responsible for Breed Ban

We know that over time thousands of breeds will be affected. Many may say "it's impossible" or "it will never happen" but did any one thing the Staffie would be banned, the German Shepard, Dobie, Shar pei, Malmutes. Which dog is next. Will one "dog Bite" give reason to ban an entire breed. Why is the Scottich Deer hound, Newfoundland, and St. Bernard banned in the one area of Iowa. Did each have a "one time/one dog" aggression problem, and that was enough to ban all????? I don't know. I just found out this: Ingrid Newark of Peta was esential in helping pass the Breed Ban Legislation in Colorado.

"The second is an article that considered the problem from a humane standpoint. The following rationalle for banning pit bulls appeared in the San Francisco Chronicle on June 8, 2005. It was written by Ingrid Newkirk, the president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and the author of "Making Kind Choices" (St. Martin's Griffin, 2005)." scroll down page:
