    Yes I have one too. What I do is number one log the computer off. Most that stops the signals and saves batteries. Number two. If you unplug the USB to the router to it, it wont keep the mouse on. My first one, I had to take the batteries out at night- royal pain but hey worth it to have a wireless mouse.. Depends on your model.

    My Dell mouse goes to sleep if it's not used for a while. It still goes through batteries pretty fast, about every two months. Mine has a light that comes on on the signal thing that tells when the batteries are low, it doesn't just die on me.
    No matter what anyone does, someone some where will be offended some how!!!!
