Cal is not doing very good, he hasn't eaten in about a week and I can tell he isn't eating beacause the pellets pretty much get sucked in the filter. It's really frustrating because he is such a cool boy. He hasn't been the same since I moved him into a 10 gallon. He used to be so active in his 2.5 so I don't know what is up with him.
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

Such pretty fish! The wide variety of color is beautiful.
I've heard of this happening... some better prefer smaller tanks over the larger one(this doesn't apply to everyone, but I have heard of some cases where it does).Originally Posted by Flatcoatluver
Does he have a heater in his tank? Sometimes extra heat can help aid some bettas that aren't doing too well.
Good luck with your boy! I hope he begins to feel better. =)
No he doesn't have a heater, but what if I turned on the light? The only fish that has a heater is the cichlid.Originally Posted by Chilli

I find that lights in the tank don't heat all that well... if I were you, and knew he was going to stay in the 10g, I would go ahead and invest in a heater. Bettas do like the temperature to be a bit above 75 degrees, but can do fine in cooler temps.
