Filou and Tigris looked at Peanut and CJ AND at the Es and now they want to be American kitties and travel.
I'll tell them next time on their trip to the vet.
I think CJ and Eddie have the same character![]()

I have a couple of questions as well....

Ok, to the questions.....
I am confused, though. Your log on says you live in Chicago,
Sorry, I haven't updated my log on - oops.
your first album photo says you live in the Dakotas, and the photos are from Tuscon?
We became residents of South Dakota (mailing address, driver's license, voter registration, etc.) because the only home we have these days is the motorhome. We choose South Dakota because they have no state income tax and things like license plates, insurance, etc is cheaper than in other states. Why pay high Illinois or Arizona taxes/fees if we don't have to?
Do you know where you are or does it depend which day it is?
Some days it does depend on which day it is.
Don't tell me you took 2 cats on a vacation trip to Tuscon?!
Technically no since we will be here for several months, but in reality, yes, since we're always on vacation these days.![]()
Prolly going to be hard to *drag* you guys back east, huh?
I don't know.....come summertime here and the temps climb over 100 degrees....we'll be back in the East in a big hurry!![]()
Is that NM or AZ, Debbie? (Or did you guys even travel through NM?)
That is NM. I remember he was up and about and complaining quite a bit, so I pretended he was like a kid and I was telling him "Whaddya think, CJ, this is New Mexico. That over there, that's a cactus. You don't want to mess with a cactus. What are those over there you ask? Well, that's a mesa. The wagon trainers used those as landmarks as they were coming through here." This running conversation didn't slow CJ's complaining down any, but it entertained me for a few miles.I believe it was I-40 that we were on at the time.
What memories you bring back for me...of our drive from Chicago to SoCal!
I thought of you guys constantly while we were driving, and imagining how much easier this would have all been had Terry towed the Olds and I got to drive the Jeep and just had the snots in the back like you had the E's.
who took the pics while driving ?
Me!Most of the trip was on very low traffic highways which made it easier, but you guys are only seeing the pics that turned out. I didn't upload the many, many, many that were maybe...say....CJ's eyeball and not his whole face, or were blurry because we hit a bump right when I snapped the picture. I have to admit, the trip would have been waaaaayyyy longer if I didn't have the two snots to keep me entertained.....especially when CJ crawled into the carrier with Peanut already in it, right directly behind me, in heavy traffic, with hissing and spitting going on like mad! It was really quite the adventure for all of us.
And have you been to San Xavier du Bac?....
Not yet, but it is on my list of places I definitely want to see before we head to Quartzsite.
Thanks again, everybody. This whole thing is quite the adventure and I'm glad I can share it with you all.![]()
