My deepest sympathies.
My deepest sympathies.
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
I think the idea of sending donations to a Newfie or Boxer rescue is wonderful. Or maybe in Springer Spaniel rescue, in her and Merlin's honor? The shelter/rescue she got Dugan from, maybe?
I certainly cannot get her off my mind. A while back she sent me a bunch of dog figurines/ceramics. Some were from then she was a little girl. She said she wanted someone to have them that she knew would love them. They've been on my "dog shelves" since then, right above where I'm typing now. I keep looking up at them.
She was a very special Pet Talker in my heart and will be sorely missed. Certainly not forgotten but it will not be the same here without her.
She sent me this e-mail on October 28th -
"I wanted to let you know how much you mean to me and your kids . the bandanas i sent were some of Merlins . Ty doesn't care for them but I knew yours would. corinna"
I believe she was talking about the bandanas we received in Kiara's welcome home package.
The fact that she thought so dearly of myself and my three means so much to me, as I felt the same about her and her three dogs.
I'm in tears again..
I'm so sorry Tim, and the rest of Corinna's family. If it hurts those of us who are miles and miles away, I cannot imagine how you all feel.
I was telling my mother about Corinna's passing and it gave her goosebumps. My mother is the same age and it's such a young age still.

"So baby take a axe to your makeup kit
Set ablaze the billboards and their advertisements
Love with all your hearts and never forget
How good it feels to be alive
And strive for your desire"

You are now reunited with your heart dog, Merlin...
After the total shock of this news, that was what came to my mind as well. I have read each post in this thread, and it is evident how many people Corinna has touched here at Pet Talk. She has been with us from almost the beginning...a true pillar in every sense of the word and this community will be missing a committed and caring person who was the true essence of what Pet Talk is all about.
To all of Corinna's family, I am so sorry for your loss. The magnitude of what you are going through is more than I can wrap my mind around. May the God who led Corinna home be with you and bring you peace.

I keep thinking of Corinna as well, the last pm I had in my inbox that day was from her.She was always so willing to help everyone out, I believe she sent something each time we had to do make-up packages for the gift swap. A good person is someone who is giving of themselves and that was Corinna.
I'm sure Merlin was waiting for her and is happy to see her...the rest of us will all sorely miss her.My prayers are with her family always.
Here is a springer rescue that is nationwide http://www.springerrescue.org/
