I just use a mouse. I do all my lines in Microsoft Paint. If I'm not wanting any neat effects I do the coloring and shading in Paint as well. If I want to do fur effects I use Photoshop.
MS Paint can produce some wonderful drawings with practice. I used to not be able to draw at all on the computer but I just kept at it and slowly improved.

Wow! Everyone's work is so great!!!! I cannot draw on paper or the computer (well, I can on Paint if I make it HUGE, that way I can't mess up!).

ok, I suck at mouse drawing. this took like an hour or more

(this started as a pencil drawing that was scanned)

*Hides behind pencil/paper art*- this took about 30 minutes

well i did another one..and I scanned a paper drawing that i did during school. =]

Indeed! I second the MS Paint thing. While I cannot draw in it, my sister does FABULOUS digital work in MS Paint. She is thirteen and has been doing it for about four years. I've attached some of her pieces.
