How about any charities that she liked? We could donate to them, too.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Val, this is what I was thinking as well. There must be a local rescue group in her own town that would welcome a donation in her name - it would be a good way to honor her in her own home.
I hate to try to contact her husband. Karen may have a better idea of this right now.
I will contact Tim again tomorrow afternoon, and will ask about charities to which she'd have liked donations to go.
What sad times. I did not know her very well but what I did know of her I always liked. She was such a kind person. I am glad she was able to go peacefully and I am sure she is lookiing down upon all of us and smiling right now.
Karen, that would be a nice idea (the flowers and/or the donation) I would like to participate.
R.I.P my dear Sweet Teddy. You will be missed forever. We love you.

I bet she would have loved it if we found the local Newfie or Boxer rescue.Originally Posted by Karen
Or even the local Humane Society.
Another thing is the local library. Dedicate some books pertaining to animals in her name. My friends did this for me when my grandpa died and it means the world to me. And I have done it for a couple friends who have lost their fathers. You can tell them you would like it to be a dog book or something. One of my friends dad's loved horses and I had them do a horse related book.

I couldn't believe it when I saw this, this morning. She was a special person. Prayers are with you and your family.
Because this thread has gotten pretty long, I just wanted to let people know we will be sending flowers for the funeral, if you are interested in participating, please PM me, okay?
Gosh, I'm just seeing this now as well, and have been reading through each and every post. Corinna sounds like a wonderful and very giving person, and I'm sorry I didn't know her better.
Tim, please know that you and your family are in my prayers also during this difficult time. She will truely be missed.
**hugs**

This is heartbreaking news.
My love and prayers are with her family. She had a large and loving family here as well.
I am grateful she entered my life, even though briefly. She will be missed, but she will be remembered.

Tim and Corrina's family, you have all been in my thoughts constantly over the past couple days. It is so very difficult to come up with adequate words to express my sorrow that a very dear and compassionate person has been lost to all of us. Through her posts and what others have posted about her, she seemed such a gentle and unassuming person, full of consideration of others and generosity of heart. She never pointed out all the wonderful things she did for others, never sought out acclaim and recognition for her thoughtfulness. She is the type of person I look up to and strive to be more like. It can be such a struggle sometimes to not be selfish or revolving around one's own problems and feelings.
I will always remember Corrina with admiration and I will strive even harder to live by her loving example. My prayers remain with you.
