Ruffles is absolutely gorgeous.
I am so, so happy to hear that you rescued Cuddles out of the shelter. No animal should have to spend 18 months living in a cage. That is just too sad.
I'm sure she will come around in her own time. But she certainly looks like she has that "Tortie attitude."

From what I understand, because Cuddles has the white, she would be a "dilute tortie on white." Peanut is considered a tortie on white because she's not dilute. And yes, what Grace said is what makes her dilute. No matter what you call her, she sure is adorable and I'm so glad you saved her.

What Gorgeous kitties! Thank you and bless you for adopting a hard to place kitty from the shelter. She may never become a love bug but she will learn to trust you. Even if she never finds a way to show you her gratitude please know that she knows you did something wonderful for her. Some cats can never get over the abandonment of their past but you will always know that you saved her life. She sure is pretty to look at!
