My baby Panther used to have the runs all the time until I switched his food. It could very well be something in the Friskies that is upsetting your cat's digestive system. Have you looked into switchng foods on a more permanent basis?

Also, I have used in the past Eagle Pack Holistic Transition which is a dry powder that is sprinkled onto the cat food which helps with the runs and other digestive troubles.

I hope your baby feels better.

Ask the vet if it might be a food allergy.

    Discovered cause!

Although Jezebelle has had diarrhea on and off since I first found her, the gas was a new developement and I thought her digestive issues might be getting worse. However, I have now discovered what was causing this problem. A little while ago my roommate had pizza and left the leftovers sitting on the table in a box overnight. The cats had dragged one piece of it out of the box and I had found it on the table and thrown it out. I didn't know that they had actually taken another piece of pizza from the box and hidden it and they had been slowly chewing away at it for days and making themselves sick (it's gone now, I threw it out)! Since I threw the piece of pizza out the gas has gone away. I continue to tackle Jezebelles digestive issues, but at least they're not getting worse, as the gas suggested.

I'm sorry, but this is a funny thread - kitty farts. Heeheehee.

I'm glad you found the problem to your kitty's gas issues. I can't believe they've been eating pizza! Those little devils!

I remember when Cosmo was laying on the kitchen floor and he let out one giant fart. Scared the crap out of me. And what did he do, he looked at me (like I did it).
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
