    1. The maker doesn't want it; the buyer doesn't use it; and the user doesn't see it. What is it? stock?

    2. A child is born in Boston, Massachusetts to parents who were both born in Boston, Massachusetts. The child is not a United States citizen. How is this possible?

    3. Before Mount Everest was discovered, what was the highest mountain on Earth? It doesn't matter whether or not it had been discovered. The highest mountain on Earth is the highest mountain on Earth, regardless of whether or not anyone is aware of it.

    4. Clara Clatter was born on December 27th, yet her birthday is always in the summer. How is this possible? She lives where it is summer in December.

    5. Captain Frank and some of the boys were exchanging old war stories. Art Bragg offered one about how his grandfather led a battalion against a German division during World War I. Through brilliant maneuvers, he defeated them and captured valuable territory. After the battle he was presented with a sword bearing the inscription "To Captain Bragg for Bravery, Daring and Leadership. World War I. What's wrong with the story?Germany wasn't involved in WW1, and/or it wasn't called WW1 at the time.

    14. In Okmulgee, Oklahoma, you cannot take a picture of a man with a wooden leg. Why not? Wooden legs don't take pictures, cameras do.

    16. A butcher in the butcher shop is 5' 10" tall. What does he weigh? Meat

    17. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him? The third one. If the lions haven't eaten for three years, they're dead!

    18. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

    19. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?

    20. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday? yesterday, today, tomorrow

    21. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious how quickly you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so plain you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact, nothing is wrong with it! It is unusual though. Study it, and think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any coaching! Good Luck!
