IMO, I think it's jealousy. Even in the 21st century, men still think it's THEIR world, so having a wife who works more, make more money and wins an Academy Award is an ego buster for most men. I'm a true believer that money is the root of all evil.
Rumor has it, Ryan is cheating with his newst co-star. Sorry, but I believe if you truly love someone, regardless if they have to be away for months, you just don't cheat. I'm old fashioned I guess. I mean, I'm not married, don't intend to be, but I still wouldn't cheat on John.
Anyway, right, who knows? It's the kids who suffer. That's the pity of it.
