Fritz this morning,lapping up attention from Dad.Fritz was pretty good last night,he was downstairs with dad and he heard kids come to the door,he run to the gate at the bottom of the stairs where he couldn't go any farther and bark.We had 17 kids come to the door,one come as a playing card,another one was a hockey player.You can't get Fritz to wear anything,tried a Santa hat once,wouldn't wear it, had a coat,doesn't wear it anymore.He had a play a few minutes ago,is now resting.Last,he was in the window in the dark and it was time for bed,i tried to pick him up,he growled,so i went for a piece of meat and before i gave it to him,tried again to pick him up,growled again,so i gave him the ham and i got him.Dad is no better,he has a awful time walking up the stairs,he out of breath by the time he gets up there.The walker is the only way he can get around.I sure hope the specialist can help him next Tuesday.It can be treated by operation or medicine,but it will take time to get better,it won't be better all at once.he kinds of feels sorry that he can't help me more with leaf pickup and has said he coudn't do what we do without me.

Barry, you're Dad is lucky to have you around (your Mom too). I am sure they appreciate all the work you do around the house and the yard.

And of course, we can't forget Fritz. I'm sure Fritz makes Daddy's day. At least we know he keeps his lap warm.

Fritz having a play with Dad with his Monkey.He got tuckered out from that play and had a snooze on the upstairs couch,Fritz is now downstairs cuddled up to dad on his back.Mom is going out to supper tonight,so probably Fritz will follow Dad up when he goes to bed,he will go to the window first then the bedroom to snooze.he will probably growl when I try to bring him down to bed,so will have to give him a piece of ham.He ate all his supper tonight and he he licked off plates of Apple Pie.

Barry, I'm so sorry your Dad is having such a hard time. I know it's hard for you and your Mom to see him go through this and feel so helpless. It is a wonderful thing that you're there for him and can get so much done. It has to be so frustrating for him to be active and now have so much difficulty in doing things he used to do so much easier. I really hope he gets better soon.

It's so nice to see that cute Fritz, always trying to cheer up his Papa. You're so cute Fritz!!
