    More photos of Lucy Inara...

    Some random photos of Lucy.

Lucy has successfully had 3 meals so far. And she's pooped twice. Hasn't shed yet, but we're keeping an eye out.

I'm soooo happy that she's not only NOT a picky eater but that she also doesn't mind my husband and I gawking at her while she eats. I think we're getting the hang of this snake ownership thing.

Just to note - there are some photos of my snake eating. If that kind of thing makes you squeamish...turn back now. But just to add, it's not a gory sight.

Relaxing on top of her hide

    Admiring her reflection

    Butt first this time..

Ahhhh! I'm being abducted by aliens!

I can't get over how gorgeous she is!! Oh I can't wait until I get a corn of my own someday. <3
And on a side note, I love seeing snakes eat. ^__^ Sounds weird coming from a rat/mouse lover, but I loved the pictures of that beautiful girl eating.
    Thanks for sharing!

Thanks!! I just adore her colors. Perfect for fall.

I like mice and rats too. I think rats make great pets.

For me it's just the whole Circle of Life deal. I have to buy pre-killed though. I could never do the deed myself.

She looks very cute. When I worked at the petshop I never had the guts to touch a snake but they facinate me! They had baby snakes which looked alot like yours I loved to watch them, Another thing I couldnt touch the pinkies either I couldnt ever own a snake! lol

All of ours eat frozen/thawed except our ball python, his have to be freshly killed or he won't touch them. Justin hates having to do it, I won't have any part of it.

That's one of the main reasons I ended up choosing a corn snake over a ball python. I've read that balls can be picky eaters and I just couldn't thunk the food myself.

I'd love to see pics of your snakies!

Justin actually used either dry ice or co2, it's not too bad doing it that way. He doesn't "thunk" them. Justin then has to hold it with tongs and wiggle it to get him inerested in the mouse. He also won't eat rats, so Justin has to feed him 3 mice at each feeding.

I'll get some pictures together and post for you.

What a cutie! I've always loved feeding pictures too, I don't know what fascinates me so about them.

I lucked out with Chubby, apparently Hogs can be picky eaters but the only time she ever turned down a meal was when she got sick, and that was my sign to take her to the vet.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!
