Let's see...had a rotary phone, would use words and numbers (Statexxxxx); I stuck green stamps in books for my grandmother. Learned to type on a manual and thought the Selectric was the bee's knees.

Just a tiny bit too young for duck'n'cover drills, but my school had "fallout shelter" signs in the basement. Yeah, as if that would help!

My grandmother got the first color TV in our family.

I remember when cable first came out.
