Richard, all of the above, except for the TV channel change - we didn't even have a TV - or a telephone!! When I was a kid, there were public telephones all over the place, and I cost $0,0169 to make that call, the same as a stick of liqurice.
I also learned to type on a manual typewriter, one of the huge red or green IBM's. I was also the proud owner of a 4 track taperecorder. LOL!
John's first "computer" was a ZX81, then we got an Amstrad, running CPM.
So did you ever send a msg on a Telex? I did that too, as late as 76.
Still haven't got a diswasher, washing machine or a microwave.... and I can do without.
