We are in Toledo and not too far from Michigan. We used to have Mindspring. I don't remember what their unlimited was, but I think it was reasonable. We now have DSL through our phone company and to borrow from Mugsy, it is hardly cheap! I too would say stay away from AOL. My parents do not like it at all ( yet they continue to use it...)
I think my brother in law used toast.net when he was in school in Michigan and think their fee is somewhere between $11.95-$15.95/month.
