Lisa, I'm so glad to hear that you were able to trap all 3 of them and that they aren't feral and are adoptable.I'll never understand why people dump cats and kittens like this either.

The kittens sure are cutie pies and the mother is gorgeous so I'm sure that they won't have any problems finding wonderful new homes.I'm at my limit with limited space and finances so I won't be able to adopt from you this time. It would be wonderful if another PT'er could adopt them though. Good luck at the vets tomorrow and please continue to keep us updated about them.

Oh, they are all amazing! such beauties. I cannot imagine anyone dumping that momma and her babies (or just the momma).
The more I hear about people, the more I like my cats.![]()

I
So glad to see the three of them. I wonder how many kittens she had originally? You will never know.
I know that some cats run away. I have had two leave the house (not in the past 20 years) and never return. Thus I keep them inside with limited outside time.
My biggest peeve is that these cats never get spayed or neutered. That to me is much worse than letting the cat outside. Some cats survive the outdoors nicely.
People should be strung up for not spaying and neutering their pets. No wonder the shelters often do the operations when the pets are so young.
I just don't get it.

All of you folks who do the rescues are so appreciated.
We wondered that also! Yes, it's a crime when they don't spay or neuter and just let roam. I do believe she was dumped cause it was like she was begging for us to help her. They're all so precious and I pray we can find them some good homes!Originally Posted by sasvermont
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
Lisa, good work yet again. They are adorable....I want you to know that I have melted into a pile of mush looking at those babies and Momma is just beautiful.![]()

That is great that you got them all on the first attempt. Mum is absolutely gorgeous, no wonder they are such beautiful babies!
Such beauties, and to think what someone did! However, I do think Gable looks more like a Marx Brother!!!
.
Congratulations! Great job Lisa! The mom looks so much like Fister's mom, except for the longer hair. The babies are just too cute!
Do you have any idea how old they are? In Denmark is it recommended that kittens stay with their mom until at least 12 weeks old - I think it's because their immune system will be stronger, and also to learn a few tricks from their mom. Will you try to get them adopted together?
Good luck on the vet vist!![]()
