BTW, Sarah, Lady had the perfect solution for vets with attitudes.....
When we first adopted her, we took her to the shelter recommended vet for a checkup and shots. The Vet had me put her on the table, walked behind her without saying anything to the poor pup, and inserted a thermometer you-know-where.
Lady turned too quick for me to react, and nipped at the vet. I was told we'd have to muzzle her next time she came in, because she's dangerous.(Lady's not the dangerous one, her human is) Never went back to that vet again, and they went out of business about a year later.
