Benedryl typically. I also have a topical oinment for her ears and if it gets really bad (the times when her belly and armpits are inflamed and bleeding), I'll take her in for a cortizone shot.

Awwww bless her heart. I bet the itching does drive her crazy. She is such a beautiful dog, she will be just as beautiful with floppy ears.

Thank you Kay for the beautiful sig!

She'll be gorgeous no matter what. Poor girl with the allergies though Micki gets really itchy in the winter too, a cortizone shot usually helps him a great deal.

I love how the two picture were taken in about the same spot, lol

OMG! If that isn't the MOST pathetic look I've ever seen! (and I laughed out loud - we humans are so cruel, to laugh at their misery! That picture is so cute )
Hugs to you, Kia, it'll be better soon! That cruel cone will be gone, maybe mommy will let you tear it to pieces when you're done with it!

    POOR BABY!!!

I thought SmokeMutt did a good Sad Sack face when he got *snipped* and
wore a BiteNot collar for a couple days ...
He was an AMATUER compared to Kia!

Kimmy, my cat Dexter had the same thing. My vet did surgery on it immediately to keep it from rupturing and shriveling up. She actually did a quilting type stitch on it. It still bends over, but isn't all shriveled like it would have been.

Poor Kia having to deal with her allergies.

She'll still be beautiful no matter what her ears look like though!

Oh, Kia, you poor dear! That is the most pitiful, pathetic, imploring her Mommie look a doggie girl can give.

As for the flop vs. stand up straight, I think she's attractive both ways, it's just that she doesn't *look like Kia*, which can be upsetting.

Tucker can sympathize as to the allergies. He has them year round too.

Poor pretty girl. You're a good mom to take such loving care of her. That has to be miserable, having allergies that bad. She's going to be beautiful, no matter what.

Seriously -- did you glue her butt to the floor? The poor girl hasn't moved in days!!

She does look pretty pathetic in her cone and wrap, poor girl, hope she's feeling better soon!
