Laura, sadly you are correct. But this would have been her fate anyway had she moved on to live with Lizzie. but knowing how she HAS adjusted, we know she can do it again. And this time, without 7 cat rivals for mama's attention.

I will miss this special girl.

And Lori, I have millions awaiting a spot at the Luckenback house for wayward kitties............you will need to find your OWN adoptive homes.

Another story that makes fostering so rewarding. Best of luck to Leda in her new home.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Wow! Leda is one beautiful tuxie girl!
Are you sure that is the same shy kitty that you rescued from the NY shelter?
She looks so ready for a new loving home now.
You have done an amazing job fostering her Jen!

(Hi sweet DaVinci! I couldn't help but notice your sweet face in the first photo with Leda)
    RIP sweet Samantha
