Poor Kia , her ear looks so red and raw.. hopefully it will heal up quickly. {{Hugs}} For you both.

Poor Kia, All that itching and Scratching, all that irritation!!!! I sure do hope she feels relief soon. I know what allergies feel like (itching ears suck).

Kia, I know you don't worry about your looks~ We Hoooomans have so much to learn , so just be yourself !!!

I was soooo looking forward to seeing my Grand doggies" ears perk up . She is going to be a Chihuahua with two floppy ears ~ Yet, that's the way I prefer her now!! ~~Live and Learn, huh!!!

Kim, do they stop during the winter?

Actually that's when it starts up. She's just fine during the summer months, and then come fall she starts to itch and it gets worse as winter progresses (and the air gets drier).

I run a humidifier to try and help ease it.

So it's hard to say if the allergies are more seasonal than food, or a little of both.

Her ear is really engorged with blood/fluid. We gave her more medicine and I wrapped her head up in a bandana and complimented it with a cone. She's not too pleased.

Wow, it's falling quickly! Poor Kia. I hope it isn't too irritating!

Yeah, her ear is really poofed up thick with blood. It'll probably be fully flopped like the other one within the next day or two. Oh well, it's her own fault and she'll still be cute with the tips of both ears flopping in the breeze as she walks around. Even though her ears are probably hurting, she was still playing fetch and such in the apartment last night, so she's in semi-good spirits I suppose.

is she on? Probably not a lot of choice for allergies is there? Kia would
look beautiful even with two floppy ears, but the itching must be awful
