Meg, I'm so sorry to hear about Tigger's passing. You did the right thing by letting her go so she wouldn't suffer. Now she's up at Rainbow Bridge playing with her brother Tony. RIP sweet Tigger.

I'm so very sorry about your beautiful Tigger. The picture of her with Tony is absolutely gorgeous, and I hope it is a little comfort to feel that she is with him again. Such a sad day.

Rest in peace little Tigger. You could not have been loved any more than you were.

I am so sorry to hear of Tigger's passing, but I am so grateful that you were able to be with her, comforting her as she made her way to the RB.

Godspeed little Tigger, and RIP. Play hard at the RB. I know that you are now at peace and playing with all of our other PT babies that were there to greet you.

    Unhappy

Oh Meg, I didn't see this until today. As I sit hear bawling my eyes out, I feel your pain and your loss and your broken heartedness!!! What precious pictures of her with her Daddy and her Mommy who loved and cared for her for so very long. I remember too well, the feeling of knowing I had to send my Tucker Man on his way, and also watching as my dear vet held him gently in her arms and stroked him before carrying him away. It is a sight that will never leave my mind or heart.

What a beautiful picture of her and brother Tony .... a true keepsake photo!

I'm so sorry, Meg. We've been without internet connection for a few days, and somehow I knew when I got back to PT I'd find this sad thread.

I was holding it together pretty good as I read through your memorial....until I saw the pic of daddy saying good bye. That is such a sweet but heart wrenching picture.

Tigger had a wonderful long life, and is now rejoined with her beloved Tony. I know that knowing you did what was best for her is no consolation right now, but it will be as time passes. You gave her a wonderful life from the day you got her until her final days.

RIP sweet Tigger. I know you're frolicking happily with Tony now. Please don't forget to look in on your meowmy and daddy now and then, and all your brothers and sisters that are still here and missing you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. What I do know is that there were many, many precious cat angels waiting for Tigger when she entered heaven, and my Mimi was right there, I'm sure.

  9. What a tiny little thing Tigger was! That will make it easier for her to fly over the Rainbow Bridge!

    Godspeed.....

Oh (((Meg))), I'm so sorry I didn't see this until today!!! I had no idea you have lost your precious baby Tigger!!! I'm very sorry to hear this, but her passing sounds so peaceful and full of love, and now she will smile down at you and the rest of the kitty gang.

She looks so cute in the pictures, and she's as small as my Lily girl...

    R.I.P., little Tigger!

My heartfelt condolences on losing your beloved Tigger. Tears fell as I saw the pictures of her with her Dad. I can so relate, and I hope she will befriend my Muskrat, Meeshe and Lily at the RB. Blessings to you and her Daddy, as you both knew it was her time to depart, and she thanks you for being so attuned to her feelings. It is never an easy decision to make when we love them so much, but they let us know when their time has come. Sometimes it is obvious, other times it is subtle. You have her love forever more, and you did not let her suffer beyond her capability to endure. Cats are such stoic creatures, and instinctively hesitate to show signs of illness. I am so touched by your loving tribute to your beautiful Tigger. May she rest in peace.
