Yes, when I get them! Smudge usually forgets that I don't have thick poofy fur like he does, and tries to express his affection as he would to another cat... but sometimes he stops himself just before biting and licks me instead, and that's very sweet! His tongue isn't very sandpapery, which might explain why he's not crazy about canned food (too hard to pick up).
