I've been away myself and don't know whats going on with you and your life, but I wanted to add my thoughts here too.

I've been away for about a year due to all the drama I've been dealing with in my life. I didn't leave PT, I've been without the internet for all that time. I now recognize how much PT has meant to me now that I'm back. Even if we don't want to share whats going on in our lives, at least having a place to chat with friends, see adorable pictures of each others critters and read about new things truly helps a lot. We all need a place to go where we can forget - or discuss - our problems.

I hope things get better for you. But know that if you leave PT, you'll be missing a very important support system...I know I really did.

Gina meant that she deleted some of her own posts herself so certain "trolls" won't see them, not that anyone else had accessed her account.

No, unlike fictional trolls, there's nothing that can be done to prevent people from reading Pet Talk, as it is a public board. I can stop people from registering or posting, but anyone with Internet access can read Pet Talk.

Last I heard this afternoon, Gina is at the hospital, but the wireless access for her pager wasn't great.

I was just on the phone with Gina, first she wanted me to tell everyone how much she loves all the pictures in this thread. She's been thinking of them all day, and they make her smile inside. She doesn't have any Internet access for her pager where she is right now, in the hospital which is why I am posting this update instead of her.

Gina could surely use everyone's prayers tonight, and for the next few days especially. She'll be in the hospital overnight tonight, and is battling, among other things, being severely dehydrated, a fever due to a very bad infection, feeling cold, and being sad and lonely without Pet Talk in the hospital.

Thanks in advance for your prayers, everyone, and for the prayers you have already sent on her behalf. She said to me several times how grateful she is for all the posts and pictures in this thread, they do mean a lot to her. She sends hugs to everyone, and I do, too.

I wanted to let you know, Gina, you're in my thoughts and prayers. I can't understand how one person can have so much bad luck. I really hope things turn around for you soon.
