Hi Taccoa! Amy here! I am CH like you and I can give you lots of great advice. Advice on how to give your human "that" look that melts them so they will give you extra treats! You also MUST teach them that you would rather DO IT YOURSELF rather than have them treating you like you are helpless... if my Mom puts me on the sofa, I jump right off and climb right back to show her I can do it...It use to hurt her feelings but now she laughs.
They catch on pretty quick as to what litter box you like the best if you are consistant in using the one you like the best. Oh! Careful not to snag your human in the leg or arm when you dig in with the claws to climb up on something.. I got my Mom one night right in the knee when I was trying to get on the bed....how did I know she had her leg so close to the edge? So watch out for that that screaming so suddenly in the middle of the quiet night, it will scear the daylights out of you! Just remember if you are going to fall, to try to fall on something soft. My Mom has comforters folded in front of my recliner and usually a thick blanket folded on the kitchen floor for me and she is really great about piling her dirty clothes with her scent on them, in the hall way for me to rest or nap on..... maybe you could train yours to do that too. If you learn any tricks I haven't mentioned, please let me know.. Us CH'ers have to stick together! Can we be forever friends? Amy

Hi Amy & me & Elmer missed you at Gary's Cancun party.. Elmer is another CH kitty on here.. Oh yes I have already got that look that melts my meowmom's heart.. I have also noted here of my independance.. I give her this Roar & she states OH Ok.. I make her think I dont like the evening body massage; but I smile & Love It.. Yes there is carpet everywhere & extra in places.. Of course like you Amy I would fall in the kitchen & so mom put down extra rugs.. I do have my worst & better days.. I still have to let mom know when I want on the bed.. If its in the middle of the night & mom dont hear me; then I will lay in the door way so mom has to step over & of course I get put in the bed.. How about you Amy do you like to play & eat.. I love to do both.. Lets talk more..

Taccoa, didn't we have a lovely time in Cancun???!!!!!??? It was so much fun to meet you, and all the other kitties too! You are a darling, sweet, beautiful, adorable girl. I was so happy to be your escort and see all the other boy kitties looking at me with envy!

Hi Amy! I'm Elmer, and I'm a new CH baby here too. My meowmie read about you on Cat Talk so she knew kind of what to expect when she met me, and she took me home!

I was going to write to you to ask if you would be my mentor. Then Taccoa joined in, and we compared some notes and then met up in Cancun as we waited for your mommy to come home. Taccoa is a wonderful, adorable, sweet girl.

You are already giving Taccoa and me lots of great advice, thank you! It is a lot of work to train our people, isn't it..

I have my own special litter box, with mostly high walls but a low entry wall in the front. I have also figured out how to climb in and use the big kitties' boxes. Meowmie has already learned to let me do things on my own. She does know she has to help me up onto the couch and the bed, though. I've been trying to get up on the couch myself, and I keep falling back. But one time I stuck out my front legs before me like SuperCat about to go flying, and I rose up and landed on the couch right next to Meowmie. She was so excited, and so was I! I haven't done that again, though. I don't want to spoil her.

When I want her to do something, I meow and meow and meow. She thinks I have a very loud voice for such a small boy.

Here are pictures of me with my favorite toy. Aunt Poppy is in the background in the first one. The tinsel sparkle-ball is actually hers, but she lets me use it. I love to carry it around and bat it and chase it and tumble after it!

OH ELMER! You are soooo handsome and you look a lot like my big brother and protector Chester. I am glad you saw me at that other place and I hope that will influenced others to bring other CH kitties home! We need to ban together and spread the word that we are just as good as any other kitty, just a little different, but we can love and accept love BETTER than anybody else!!! RIGHT!?

I hate I had to miss Mr. Gary's party! I love his parties but Mama always sends Chester along to keep a eye on us and he is so BORING ! We can't have any fun with him around so I have to sneak off.. My beau that I meet at those parties is Eli, a VERY handsome CH boy that owns that wonderful lady Queenscoopalot. We tried dancing and everyone thought we were doing a new dance when we would tremble and fall over and they all started doing it too and next thing we knew, the dance floor was full of laughing falling over kitties and we all had a BLAST! I drug my tail all the way home, I was to tired to hold it up anymore! WHAT a party!

Taccoa, my skin sister gives me body massages also and I let her know I LOVE them by purring as loud as I can and grin ear to ear. Does your Mommie brush you or use the grooming tool on you? My Mommie does that and I am in HEAVEN when she does it, I purrrrrr and grin then too!

I nibble all day but before we got our feeding stations, I would fall into my food dish and dump it all over the floor. Being the "Lady" I am, I would always eat it all up without stopping so Mommie wouldn't have to clean it up.. (Showing her I CAN do it myself thank you !) But now we got the feeding stations and I don't fall over when I eat anymore. If you ever need one, have your Mommie, pm mine and she can tell her how to build one for you. Yes, I play. I love the feathers on the wand thing, Mommie gets in the floor with us every day and plays with that with us (we have 2 of those wands, one chirps like a bird!) We also had a red dot that ran all over the house that we chased but Mommie said something about "batteries" (?) so it don't come to play with us anymore. I play laying on my side. Now and then I play running and chasing but when I use my legs a lot, they get real weak and it takes me days to get the strength back in them. Hay, I got TWO new friends! Now I can brag to my sisters that I have PT friends too!
