I'm a huge orangie fan and right now only have a male orangie. I also didn't know how rare they were until I became a member here. I grew up with a female long haired orangie named Puff. Her mother was also an orangie and her grandmother was a Calico. She had 2 litters of nothing but orangies and the father was also a short haired orangie that looked like Morris the cat. As far as I can remember, she didn't have any health problems but she did become much more moody as she got older.
