Prayers going out for Joanne and Trevor's family & friends. I'm so sorry to hear he didn't get help for this sooner... The surgery my husband had recently was for this type of weird heart condition that puts them at risk of "sudden death" syndrome. Don't know if it's the same, but sounds similar. Trevor was far too youngOriginally Posted by Catty1

Thanks, cyber-sides.
One of Trevor's brothers spoke today - he was the only family member to know about Trev's medical problems, as Trev did not want his parents to be worried. Both parents are alive and healthy and in their 90's!
It was the kind of heart condition where one half beats too fast and the other part does 'nothing', if that makes any sense.
All went well today....the place was full - though an Anglican(Episcopalian) service, there were Gaelic elements, and several Buddhist rites.
I got to sing and play piano. Joanne had requested me - and I told my boss I was going to be there. No way I wasn't going to be.
Trevor was very loved - his brothers from down east were amazed to hear from others about Trevor, and what an impact he had on everyone.
They are having a memorial in Ontario next week for the parents, and the friends there. I hope the brothers' account of what they heard here will comfort the parents somewhat - that he was so loved!
Enough outta me - may everyone's prayers come true!![]()

This seems so minuscule compared to other's prayer requests, but I would appreciate it if some of you could keep my sister in your prayers. My sister, Kati, leaves on Monday for a mission trip to Honduras.
Thank you.

Prayers, please everyone! Jenny (Lady's Other Human) had her gall bladder taken out Monday, and things seemed fine, but very early this morning she was taken to the hospital in severe abdominal pain.
Talked to Lady's Human an hour ago, he said so far all they know is "the bloodwork looks normal," so big prayers for Jenn to be okay please everyone!
Big Prayers for everyone here!!!!
Prayers for everyone!

Thanks for the prayers, guys.
As of this morning, they still don't know what's causing her pain, "Blood work is normal"(Ummm, guys, maybe ya might think about looking at something else?)
Sorry, I'm in a lousy mood.
Hi everyone! Sorry it's taken so long to respond. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! to everyone for the prayers and well wishes. A special thanks to the Mayor for sending my Angel Bear to me. She was there when I got home last Wednesday. Recovery is going well and I am allowed to get off the couch now. The kids are very happy to have me home as is Fred and Lady. The first two days I had to sleep on the reclining part of the couch and I got lots of cuddles from my kitties to help me get better. In three weeks I have to go back so they can take the shunt out so please continue to keep me in your prayers that, that part of the surgery goes well too.Originally Posted by Karen

PT prayers work magic. I'm having a minor hernia repair surgery tomorrow. It's an in & out thing - surgery @ 8:00 a.m. and my friend comes to pick me up at 11:30 a.m. Just hold a good thought. I should be fine and will report in when it's over. Thanks! Georgia
