I think it may have something to do with the server reboot.
To clear the cache, go to Tools>Internet Options> then in the Temporary Internet Files click Clear Files. (This is for Explorer; I think that's how you do it.)

Haha I do agree with that
But really though sometimes the cookies you have on your computer just expire. Cookies can't last forever. It has nothing to do with the server 9/10 of the time. Mine expire on me once every couple of months
