    That is such sad news. I'm sorry to read this and hope Rufus is comfortable in his last days.
    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    I'm so sorry to hear this sad news. I hope that Rufus will be able to stay as comfortable as possible in the remaining days he has left. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

    Oh no..... I remember Rutherford very well! You were so happy when that lady adopted him together with Marvin !
    Poor Rufus....

    Let's hope he won't be suffering to long and to much....

    What terrible news. I am so sorry for Rufus, his adopted Meowmie, and you, Jen. I am hoping and praying that he willbe as painfree as possible. Poor little guy.

    I'm saddened to read that Rutherford/Rufus is so ill. It must have been heartbreaking to receive the email about your young foster kitty. May it be of some comfort to know that since he and his buddy, Marvin, were adopted together maybe Marvin will help ease his anguish until the Bridge is crossed, and may the knowledge that you were instrumental in giving Rufus every chance in life remain in your heart.
