Your Mom is so right Jake...we don't choose our furkids, they choose us! And what a fine job you did sweet baby boy in selecting your forever home! Your Mom may have thought a Pappilion wasn't in her future but you proved her wrong Jake, didn't you? As your family so wisely tells us, the rescue route is definitely the way to go and you are living proof of that! Handsome, talented, athletic, joyful and loving; who could ask for more in a furkid! I definitely agree that older dogs should be considered--we adopted our Lefty when he was over 6, and we've enjoyed our time with him immensely!
