I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & ZazouBe happy there at the Rainbow Bridge
Fister was such a good boy!! He's back! Gosia (my friend) really is a cat person. At times I thought about giving her a call to remind her of certain things, but she already thought of that.
Fister stayed under her bed for a while, but came out early evening, walked around a bit to check more things out, and then settled ON her bed. He made sure he had a view to her in the other room where she was watching TV.
Later, I saw Fister in the kitchen window, her stroking him, he seemed to enjoy that.
I got the whole story with every little detail. When she went to bed, he came up to lay next to her, he was cautious at first, but ended up giving her headbumpies and turning around so she could give him tummy rubs. Isn't that wonderful!!Once she woke up with him standing right in front of her face. LOL!
As he seemed to like to sit in her kitchen window also, I gave her a thick blanket he could lay on, as he was leaning agaist the cold window. I went to the toilet around 2AM and had to to go see if he was there; he was.
A little later on, he went back to her bed for more cuddles. He didn't use his litter box until 5AM but she certainly heard it!! LOL! He was digging to China as usual and miawing loudly too. She was woken up several times, but she claimed it was from the music - some people had a party, I heard it too.I her bedroom he chose to sit in the window where the I hadn't put the sheet, that was probably because it was slightly open, he loves to sit and sniff the air.
He wasn't eating and drinking much, so she tempted him with some tuna - very thoughtful.
I came in to get him before dinnertime, he was under the bed then, but would he come out!! NO way!! After a while, I had to go and get broomstick to chase him out, but what he did was hide under her couch in the other room. I tried again and he went back under her bed.Well, Fister, do you want to move in for good??

In the end we managed to get him out in the kichen, we had arranged that he may as well go down the stairs himself, to the yard he recognises, but here the next problem occured. The kitchen door was open and Gosia stood outside to make sure he wouldn't run up. We thought that was very clever, but he ran to the window instead of the door. At that point, he was quite confused and getting scared, so when I grapped him he panicked and peed in her window. However, I got him and put him out on the staircase and he rushed down... we had set the door ajar. Once he was in the yard, he went straight to my staircase door and couldn't get fast enough. He raced up, and he even opened my door himself.
I think we have to refine the leaving ritual next time. LOL!
All in all, it was a good visit and Gosia still loves him.I'm also relieved Fister and Gosia gets along so well.
Back in my place, we had good long cuddle, and he's happy things are back to normal after all.
I took a few pics, but will post them tomorrow - it's bedtime here.

Fister is such a gentlemenI'm so glad things went well with your friend and he was comfortable enough with her to cuddle.
As for the "leaving part" - well it seems the boy sure knows where home isThat's a good thing - none of this wandering around and getting lost stuff - what a good boy

Isn't it good to know there is someone close by who can and will take care of your baby? I wish I had someone that close to take care of Eve when we have to be away from home - it would be so comforting.

Randi, that is great that the visit went so well. Yes, I'm sure you will manage to refine the leaving ritual, but for the rest of the visit, Fister seemed quite confortable. Clever boy!
Since it all went so well, where are you thinking of travellling? A PT tour perhaps?![]()

This was just to see how Fister would be doing IF I went on a vacation. I'm sure glad to see he was happy with my neighbor.
When I came to get him, I brought my camera. To me, he looks quite content?![]()
So here's a video clip. (QuickTime). Sorry it's a little dark, it was late afternoon.
