There will be days, and then, there will be DAYS! And, as long as you make it through each one, we are thankful. I can only hope that each 'bad' day you experience is a little less bad than the one before it.

Slick, even though I haven't posted on this thread much, you continue to remain in my thoughts and prayers. I hope that each day gets easier and more painfree. (((HUGS)))

The last couple of days have not been good ones and I can't quite figure out why I'm feeling more pain than at the beginning of the week. However, today I choose not to let it get me down. I slept in this morning and Max came to wake me up and he tells me that there is lots to do today.

My friend is coming to pick me up at 10:30 and I have an appointment to get my eyes tested at 11am. I'm considered a diabetic now so want to make doubly sure that my sight is also taken care of. After that she is taking me shopping for fresh fruit and veggies. I'm craving a nice big salad.

Next Tuesday I get a chest x-ray done at 9:30 then see the surgeon in the same building at 10:30am. Hopefully he can remove the stitches from the chest tube site and the real healing can begin.

Just got off the phone with Logan and I have promised to go into detail about Dr. Joel when I get back from shopping.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

What a wonderful conversation we had, too!!!! Vickie just got a short history on me and my silly furry ones. She picked up on my concerns about my own health problem, and as I started to email her, I decided to call, instead.

Have a good day, my friend. It was wonderful to talk with you, and to be able to report good news.

I think we all here at PT need to gather round and have one HELL of a big group hug!!
I always spend a portion of my day at work speed reading through threads trying to find out the latest info on all of our PT'ers that are going through troubleing times. So It think a group hug is in order!!

There's one more thing... Slick inquiring minds want to know, are there any pictures of Dr. Joel?

Hugs to you and I hope you don't sleep on your right side tonight!!

Well, the way she described him to me - there wasn't one thing "silly" about Dr. J. - we just gotta get Slick to tell us about him.
