LOH and I are far from newlyweds, but thank you anyway.

I don't think Willie is here, but Mario is.

Being that Karen and I have brought our mother into this, be careful when you ask for a "small" portion............

Our building had a charity coffee morning this morning, so I have had several cakes already. I could do with something savoury.

I have to tell my chicken soup story here. While on vacation a few weeks ago, I was cooking and used some of TJ's chicken broth (in the carton) and put the rest back in the fridge. Monday morning first day back from vaca, sleepy me pulled a carton out of the fridge thinking it was soy milk and poured it on my cereal. At first I thought, Hmm. the soy milk must have settled, better shake it. So I shook it and poured some more on my cereal. It wasn't until I finally looked at the carton and realized I'd pulled the wrong carton. Chicken soup on Special K tastes YUKKY! So now I always double check the carton before I start to pour.

I'll have a Ma sized platter of whatever you're serving and a cuppa coffee!

OMD Anne, you are back!!!!! I'm so happy to see you posting!!!! I have been thinking about you and your husband....can't remember his name right now (mayh something). Are you two OK??? Please, please stick around. I have missed you.

So, it's another Saturday night and while I'm waiting for my dinner to cook, I could use a double strong triple Bloody Mary. I have not had any pain meds since 10:30 this morning so things are looking up. I just may be able to have a real drink before too long.

LH and LOH, congrats on the anniversary even though I'm a day late. Heck, why not celebrate it all weekend???
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Welcome back. Richard forgot to point you towards your recovery chair. It's right by the bar, with built in massager and a cabana boy. (Okay, the cabana boy is once again being played by Orc, but he's calming down)

One triple BM to go with the double the other barkeep just poured you. I was getting ready to kidnap you from your other threads and bring you in here by force!

I was going to say the same thing! Slick, welcome back to Thursdays! Put your feet up, don't lift a finger. Not sure if you need another BM as you might think it really is Thursday!

Cuppa coffee for me this morning with a Robitussin chaser - still battling this danged cold!
