thats the same situation we are in here ( in missouri, usa) except its pitbulls that are being banned. oddly they never reported how they knew the dogs are pitbulls or whatever, and on one occasion they were properly secured in a dog run and someone let them out to see what they would do.![]()
oh well, what can you do to educate people ? the media and movies portray certain dogs as vicious and evil when statistically they are the least likey to attack people. ( i read something a while back that said the most cases of animal bites that require medical attention are caused by house cats, go figure)
These events are truly terrible, but I must say that it seems convenient that there is now a whole string of rottweiler attacks one after the other. Surely the rottweiler community of Great Britain has not set a specific time period to maul people? I think these dog attacks go on all the time, and that the media has picked up on one such attack and is now emphasising on it by backing it up with whatever else they can find. It all just seems a bit suspicious to me and I sincerely hope the breed is not banned.
