I think he is. But I dont know how to fix it. And I dont get why hes lashing out at me! He also was running around with Hank today and litraly attacked him he lunged at his face and almost got him. And then I went to pick him up and he did the same thing to me!! I told him no and put him back in his cage.
Thats so weird..
Meadow started doing the same thing today!![]()
He got realy mad at me and started growling and lashing his paw at me then when ever I tryed to pet him he would try to bite me...Meadow would even hide behind my dresser and no matter what he wont come out and if I try to get him he growls its so strange of him.
I decided I should keep Meadow but the problem is my parents do not think the same... they said I should return him because he keeps trying to bite and his eye's have this weird extra skin on him and he never like's to be picked up if we started with him young and he did this as an adult we would never get rid of him ...we just spent money him on and he's acting like this I have to talk to the pet store.
I feel like crap for thinking to get rid of himbut now I realy have to...my dad said to get a younger rabbit so I can train him..
im so pissed off oh well.. at least at the pet store someone else may want him.
Hopefuly I can convince them I realy should have Meadow... and I was being a looder for not liking him a BIG looder!
Is your bun neutered? Because i know from experience that eliminating those hormones can really chill out a rabbit. Also, some rabbits are just instinctly defensive, especially if they are small. I found that when my bunny is in a grump, if i sit near him and pretend to groom myself and make him think "Hey i dont care that you are there" They approach you out of curiosity - then once they are near if you groom them lots they will love you (in rabbit world, a rabbit most groomed is a rabbit most loved).
As for keeping them out of trouble, i know just how hard that can be! If you tie the door handle to something or get a lock or something for the door you can keep him out of there, albeit just keep him out of that room.
My boy Dutch had a thing for wires, big fat ultra chewy wires and i had to keep an eye all the time, but just lifting things out of their reach and making alternative toys for them can be effective, like a big digging box (cardboard box with a hole in and lots of digging material) for diggers, or a big ol' phone book for shredders will keep them busy!
Now i've learned to not be afraid of animals even if they are scary, because if they learn that you are no threat they learn to accept you, especially if you bring them yummy treats a lot!
Sorry for writing a bit of an essay, i hope any of it helps![]()
^ Yes, her rabbit is neutered.
Alicia, I would think he's probably jealous of Hank.. but I hope you can get everything sorted out with him. (oh and give him a hug for me)

Yes he is nutuered I got that done as soon as I adopted him as I know the effects of not being nutuered and the health risks...Like I stated in the OP its a closet hes opening not a door. And a sliding closet so theres no way to tie it..and I'm not in any way afraid of him..
