I'll be waiting for Slick's first post.
.
This is such great news!I've been hoping that things were going to begin to get better for Slick and now this is the first step. It's so great that she's coming home!
Now that's some good news! I'm so glad to hear that she'll finally be sleeping in her own bed. Sorry to hear about the chest tube removal pain. Hopefully it didn't leave any lasting soreness. Congrats Slick! I hope you continue to improve.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Well, this has been quite an ordeal for her, perhaps more painful than she even feared. But at least the needed operation has been done and the recovery process is started. This may take awhile but day by day, bit by bit she will regain her health and stamina. Yes, it will be wonderful to hear from her personally. That should send up a cheer heard all the way to Canada.

I'm so sorry about the nurse cratchit - there always seems to be one or two (or even more as I experienced with a back surgery a few years ago). Welcome Home Slick! Perhaps nursing student Joel needs to do some extra "homework"You can always volunteer to be an extra-special tutor
I'm sure you're glad to be home in your own bed with your fur children nursing you back to health.
like Pam....I'm not good at saying these things but....
Yaa Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!
Yah!!!! I'm sure she'll be glad to get back in her own bed!!
There's no place like home...there's no place like home...
Good vibes coming your way, Slick!
I've been Boooo'd!
