Thanks to others on Pet Talk I learned about the disgusting
contract with AKC and Petland.
I asked a friend about it and she has been keeping
me posted with info she has read on the Akita list.

Write to AKC board of directors and management
and let your voices be heard on how disgusted you are with their actions.
Most of the AKC delegates as well as the breed clubs did not know about this agenda that had already been signed and DO NOT
SUPPORT THIS.
It's all about money $$$.
From what I understand possibly in a few days their will
be something about this on AKC website.

AKC has sold responsible pet owners and breeders as well
as their own delegates down the drain
with this action.

Write to AKC and let them know how you feel.

The only thing either one of those organizations give one hoot about is the almighty dollar, so we shouldn't be surprised...I have never had any use for either one of them.
