She has an appointment at 1:45 on Wednesday. She is scheduled to get spayed on October 2. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? It seems like there is always something with her. She is a resued purebreed and we have spent close to $1,000 on her vet bills since we got her. Our mutt never had this many problems. She is a pretty good dog and we love her tons, so everyone cross your fingers that there isn't major wrong with my sweet little girl!

If anyone cares, I moved up her appointment for this morning, I couldn't wait until this afternoon! She is just having a false pregancy. She gets spayed on October 2 anyways,so she she won't have to go through this again. I worried all last night. The vet said she looks great, he even said her ears were the best that he has ever seen in an english springer spaniel! I would hope so, we clean her ears twice a week like we were told to do, so she doesn't get another ear infection!

Ugh, false pregnancies are HORRIBLE. Molly went through one, because she wasn't properly spayed.

Careful that she doesn't chew/suck on her nipples. Molly chewed on hers til they bled and became swollen. They can become infected. We had to put cold compresses on her 5 times a day for 5 minutes.

    Hi Sanford8916,

I've read your thread about concerns for your Dear Lou Lou .

Since you have moved up your appointment, be sure to mention "all" your concerns. I would request that this vet preform tests to rule out any cancer . I am not saying that it is, I am just concerned, and I do care.

I know you are her Mommy, and you will take good care of her.

Thinking of you and Lou Lou today.

    Please keep us posted.

Are you sure it's a false pregnancy and not a real pregnancy?

We went to the vet yesterday morning and the vet gave her a full check up, so yes I am sure. Plus she would of already of had puppies if she was from her last heat cycle.
