Those particular state funded programs are income-dependant, NOT marital status dependant. While the two might seemed linked, they don't have to be. Sometimes, even married people are poor.

Medicaid pays for medical care for children without insurance if their parents qualify. That's the only thing I know of that hasn't been mentioned already.
