Naomi, I'm glad that you were able to visit Slick today but I'm sorry to hear that she's still in so much pain. The Dr. Pete sure is cute and I'm sure she'll enjoy cuddling with him at night.

Slick, I sure hope that your pain will decrease each day and that you'll soon be able to get a good nights sleep. Lots more prayers and positive thougths are being sent your way. Please take care.(((HUGS)))

Praying for a much better night tonight. Hopefully they'll monitor your pain much more closely.

    Slick,
I am so sorry. I have heard often that it is the nurses, not the docs who don't administer enough pain meds. Nobody should have to be in pain after surgery these days.
I have made that experience myself. My co-workers brought me a Steiff kitty to the hospital (although not as medically experienced as Dr. Pete Feline) and I was 42 years old, lying in bed, not being able to sleep because of pain and I hugged my kitty So I hope Dr. Pete is back soon and hugs you- as we cannot come and do that.

It breaks my heart to hear Slick is in so much pain. I really hope the nurses will keep a close eye on her and give her what she needs! Hopefully, she'll also be moved to her private room soon.

Naomi, thanks so much for visiting and bringing Dr. Pete and his gear along, he is so cute! I'm sure Slick will cuddle with him, as soon as she's better. I hope she will feel all the hugs coming from us though Dr. Pete.

Away from the computer for a few days and just catching up. I'm near tears hearing that you're in such pain Slick. If need be I can come kick some nurse butt to ensure they're looking after you better. Once you're in your own room and able to sleep the healing will speed up considerably and the pain won't be so bad. I hope you've heard some bells and know that Trouble and I are keeping vigil for you. Please feel better soon.

Oooh, I love Dr. Pete. I am sure once Slick gets into her own room, where she can rest, and snuggle with Dr. Pete she will feel much better. Here is to hoping the pain is controlled soon, and Slick and Dr. Pete can be together.
