Bless her heart!!
Prayers have continued here for her. You just can't go through this type of surgery without some major hurt!!!
I'm glad she liked her "doctor"! I hope that PT shirt reminds her how much we care for her!!!

WHERE YOU ARE IS WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE!!!

I'm sorry to hear about the pain but I guess it's to be expected. That Dr. Pete sure is cute! Maybe she'll feel better when she gets in her private room. Duke sends kisses and paw shakes to her.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
I miss you
I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.
Fur as dark as the night.
Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

I will be praying that if we all concentrate hard enough to lift just a little of her pain unto ourselves that she will soon be feeling much better.
.
Slick did say the lights were always on and it is noisy there...once she gets a private room and gets some really good sleep, I am sure it will help a lot!
Jen, I am going to do the pain-lifting idea too.
Thanks for that thought.

It's not a typical patient room as there is what looks like a mini nurses station right in there with her. She said it's very noisy at night and the lights are always on, so she's having lots of trouble sleeping.
Being a Canadian myself, the room that Slick is in sounds like the Intensive Care Unit. This is where patients who have had major surgery stay for a few days for close monitering. Hopefully she will be in her private room within the next few days.
Don't be afraid to use your call button Slick, that's what it's there for.
I pray that the terrible pain that you are in Slick will become bearable very soon and then lessen with each day that passes.
Okay, here goes. Drawing in a deep breath to lift part of your pain into me.
OHHHHH ouch, I think I took a little too much, blowing some of it back for someone else to lift from you.
Take care Slick. Prayers still on the way that you have a full and speedy recovery.

Yes, rg_girlca, I am very familier with Intensive Care Units and, Step Down Units in Hospitals !!!!
Only a few visiters are allowed, depending on the care that is required!!!!
I will be so relieved to learn that Slick has been wheeled to her Private Room!!!
I'm going to Pray that I can take on some of her "Pain" as well,
Here goes, (closes eyes, takes a deep breath-------)I will take some -------
GEEZ!!!! Okay,More Pet Talk Prayers of this Nature are Now required!!!
Slick, We love you!!!!!!!
Bless your heart, my dear friend - I wish it was possible for all of us to lift your pain away completely.
But surely all of the outpouring of love for you will help.
I pray that they monitor you carefully tonight and that you can hopefully get a good nights sleep.
It sounds like a torture room - not an INTENSIVE care room. This news is hurting us all for you.
Soon you will be in your private room and can get the good rest you need snuggled in with your new furry friend.
Naomi - thank you so much for all that you are doing - we all realize that you work and it just isn't easy to get from one side of town to the other to visit Slick during the visiting hours. Thank you for posting too.

Oh, Poor Slick, I hate thinking of her being in such intolarable pain!!!
I hope that her night nurse has been informed about her rough road last night and that she will be monitered closer !!!
Thank-You , none the less, for providing us with the up dates on her !!!!
I'm praying that she will have a better nights rest, and that she feels better soon!!!!!!
I'm sad to hear that she is in so much pain. I hope the pain will at least decrease some soon.
Those gifts were great Naomi. I'm glad you were able to visit with her in person.
Get feeling better Slick!
