    Thank you all for thinking of me. I've sold some stock last week and the first thing I'll do when the money is in hand will be to get the computer fixed. I've been having i'net withdrawal symptoms. I do appreciate your kindnesses. I'd convinced myself that you all had forgotten me.

    Cassy and Livvy are loving the new place, especially the Cat Castle in the rear yard.

    Dad's recuperating from a bad cold; Mom is still suffering with it and I seem to be coming down with it, too, drat it.

    Debbie, I hope you are having a MARVELOUS (and fur-filled) day. Hippo Birdie, dear.

    Mickie, the black and white Border Collie girl adopted in July, shares our birthday. I'm lobbying to add our two ages together and divide them by two since we share the day. She seems enthusiastic about the idea, but she is enthusiastic about most everything in life...

    What fun to see this birthday thread, and to share my day with AmberLee! (have NOT forgotten you - HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you )

    My birthday was so nice!! Daughter-in-love chrangharris had us over and fixed my favorite meal of meatloaf and trimmings. She baked me a white cake (my fav cake!) and I baked my son an angel cake as his birthday was 9/11. As we walked up to their door, granddaughter Misha greeted me on the porch by singing Happy Birthday to Memaw!

    My middle son and wife sirrahved drove down for the day, then later I talked to daughter sirrahsim in Japan (she also sang to me). I also spoke with my dad in Texas and my brother in South Carolina. So, having contact with every member of my family - then reading this thread from PT family...well it made for a lovely day all around
