I just got off the phone with her night nurse, Sue. Slick had a good night although still in pain of course. She has a drip pain medicator, not one of those buttons she can control but that's a good thing as it keeps the meds going even as she sleeps. Sue said her mood and spirits were good, all things considered. No elevated temperature and all vitals are good. They will be getting her up for a short walk later today (it's only 5:30 a.m. there - shift change in another two hours). I asked Sue to please tell her that Gini and I will be holding her hands and she will have lots of friends holding her up during her walk, even if she can't see us she will feel our support. Thank-You for the up dates!!!!!!! I sure do hope that her nurse mentions that there are "lots" of good friends standing by, helping her Heal, and "spiritally" holding her hands!!!
