    You may have already tried most of these, but this link ~ www.petrescue.com/library/find-pet.htm ~ has a lot of good suggestions.
    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

    Just checking in too, and still praying and hoping for your sweet baby to return. I think that sounds like a good idea to plant your scent somewhere and see if she can follow it.
