Thank you all so very much. You have me sitting here with tears streaming down my face. Your support means more to me than you'll ever know and has put my mind at ease.

Now it's just a matter of taking one day at a time and praying that everything will turn out well.

Lorraine you know that we are praying for You, Sweet Pea and her Babies.
I wish there was a way for God to pick up Pierre , and shake him by the scruff of the neck and amke him a responsible adult about his Cats.
The worst part about druggies is that they care about nothing but more drugs.
God Bless You for helping Sweet Pea , and we pray her Babies will be All Right.

I can't believe I missed this thread. But I am so NOT surprized at the vet's findings.

So very many of our rescue cats were moms at this age. And your experience could go any way. Most are wonderful moms. Some lose 1 or more of their litter. Some drop the kits and simply walk away from them. But whatever happens we know they will be loved and taken care of to the best of your ability. And who could ask for more?

Best of luck to Sweatpea. Congratulations "grandma"

    Surprise!!! Surprise!!! SURPRISE!!!!!

Oh Lorraine!!! My immediate reaction was more shock than surprise. Poor little SweetPea, a baby having babies. I support your decision 1000% and can understand how difficult it must have been. Prayers are being prayed that SweetPea comes through her pregnancy with no complications and her babies will be okay. She couldn't be in better hands than yours!

Did you beat Pierre up yet? Grrrr What a (insert your own bad words) making SweetPea go through this by letting her out with no thoughts of her safety and well being.....

Please keep us updated on how SweetPea is doing? I'll be here for you for the duration, just pm me any time.....

Sweetpea is SO lucky she found you! I'm sure your mind is at ease now that the decision has been made. Can't wait to hear all the updates.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Poor girly! My grandma's kitty had a litter at the shelter and she was a young dainty cat as well. She's doing very well now, though she's a bit of a chunk.

I think you made the right decision, and I think Sweetpea's lucky to have you.

    Thank you Wolf_Q!
